Affiliate Summit 2010 | Let’s Connect

In a few days, I will be attending Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas and wanted to let you know about 3 ways to connect at the show. In case you don’t know about Affiliate Summit it’s the leading event for affiliate marketing aka performance based marketing. Attended by over 4,100 people it is held at the Rio Hotel and runs from Jan 16-19th. As an OPM (outsourced affiliate program  manager) and an active affiliate I am always looking forward to the networking, blogging, tweeting and learning from others.  I will be presenting on e-commerce and affiliate strategy and having a tabletop in the meet market so please read on..

Option #1 – Sunday 12-6PM (Meet Market Mega Networking Session)
Vastplanet Management (outsourced affiliate program mangement)  will be at table #36 at the Meet Market from 12 – 6PM.  We will be talking to affiliates and merchants and encourage you to stop by and say hello. Each hour we will have a drawing for Starbucks or iTunes gift cards (still have to pick those up!) and will have Men’s Skin Care products from Grooming Lounge, wood flooring from SimpleFloors.com and some great promotions on dedicated hosting from NetDepot.com.

Option #2 – Tuesday 11AM – Presentation – E-Commerce Site Deconstruction & Strategies for Affiliates.
I will be presenting on the latest market trends, holiday results and leaders in E-Commerce while outlining the conversion strategies and tactics that affiliates can utilize. As an ecommerce developer and affiliate marketer for over 10 years I wanted to shed some light on how affiliates and merchants can work together. In addition, I will showcase some leading coupon sites and uncover strategies that emulate e-commerce tactics.
